I love my clients! I love to watch your babies grow, your homes get renovated, your birthdays celebrated, your children come home from college for the holidays. I love your new puppies, your motorcycles, your horses, your fashion choices and I absolutely adore your crazy ideas for holiday card photos. As a totally visual person, I can look through my archives and remember the sounds of the laughter, what made your kiddo laugh and how kind you all are. I appreciate and adore my clients so very much.

Spring Mini Shoots
Mini-shoots are 15 minutes sessions at the specific location on specific days. You will receive 15-20 images. These sessions are great ways to capture family photos for holiday cards or something to frame for your home.

Family Portraits
Documenting families, children and relationships is how I started this photography journey and it is still very near and close to my heart. Your family is the most important thing in the world.
Family photography can look like a 15 minute mini shoot when I offer those (in the Fall and Spring) or it can be a customized session at your home or a location we agree upon.

Headshots
There are countless types of headshots, and knowing your end goal will help me plan, advise and shoot them. I work with actors, models, content creators, authors and businesses to create headshots that are specific and customized to each person’s needs.

Lifestyle & Branding
Also known as "content!" Helping small businesses and individuals curate beautiful images that tell their story is both essential and rewarding. With my eye for styling scenes and moving things along quickly, I am able to produce a great deal of content in a short period of time.
PRICING
Custom pricing based on project. Generally, I will price hourly but some brands will leave me with their product and I will shoot an entire project for a flat rate, regardless of time. Please don’t hesitate to inquire, I’ll happily answer your questions and decide on a package that is best for your needs.
Interior Design
Photographing interiors is close to my heart, because I adore good design. Every detail is important and I will find the best vantage point from which to highlight them. I am known for crisp images but also for providing a great deal of "content" by walking around and snapping small vignettes at the end of the official shoot.
PRICING
Full Day (8 hours): $2,200
Full day shoot may be spread between two (or more) properties. The additional driving and load in/load out times will be included in the 8 hours.
Partial Day (by the hour): 1st hour $550; additional hrs $300/hr

Live Events
Being at the right place at the right time is both lucky and calculated. I study the lighting, the action, the crowd, and even how each subject holds the microphone in order to place and time my shots. More than just snapping a good image, I’m also capturing the mood of the room. If you can feel the energy and emotion of the moment, then I’ve done my job.

Hourly pricing: $300 for the first hour, $200 each additional hour

HOW MUCH TIME DO I NEED FOR A FAMILY PORTRAIT SHOOT?

It depends on the size and age of the group. For a single family, I suggest 30 minutes, especially if you have younger children, as that’s about all they can handle. In 30 minutes, I’m able to shoot a couple different group shots as well as individual shots, as long as all participants are willing! I’d suggest a full hour if you’d like me to spend extra time crafting the individual shots (for example, if you have teens who would like special portraits, or an adult who needs a headshot).

If you have an extended family gathering, with multiple families, I would suggest one hour so that I have time to shoot each individual family (and possibly individuals) after the big group shot.

DO YOU HAVE A STYLIST OR MAKEUP ARTIST?

I do not currently have a stylist or make up artist that I work with, but if you need me to help you find one, I have ideas!

DO YOU STILL SHOOT WEDDINGS OR PARTIES?
​
I was a wedding photographer for about ten years and while I enjoyed it very much, and learned so much, I no longer offer wedding photography as a full service. I still shoot as a second because I really enjoy the creativity of it (for non-photographers, that just means other photographers will hire me by the hour to shoot alongside them and turn over the photos at the end of the day, and these photos will not have my name on them) but I no longer offer that as a service under my “menu” simply because weddings are hard work! Wedding photographers need to be dedicated to the genre almost exclusively, and I just really love shooting other things as well.

Parties! I am still happy to shoot a party! I’m not marketing myself in this direction, but I always enjoy documenting a party–I’m good at joining in the fun in order to capture it, so yes! Get in touch and let’s chat.

DO YOU SHOOT LARGE GROUPS OR FAMILIES?
Oh yes. I’m getting very good at crowd control and kid control and you can expect me to look foolish, make silly noises and jump around!

CAN I ORDER HOLIDAY CARDS THROUGH YOU?
I am not technically a graphic designer, but if you have an idea for a holiday, birthday or other sort of card, I can design it for you in most cases. I do have printing sources and you can order custom cards or pre-designed cards from my printing services website. If you have a specific idea and you can’t find it, I am your gal!

CAN I BRING MY DOG/CAT/BUNNY/GOLDFISH?
YES! I love them all! If you do bring your fur babies, please be sure to bring whatever you need to secure them so that when they are not in the photos they are safe and secure. That may be a leash that can tie around a tree or a travel case, but it’s important we have a way to confidently put them aside for a few moments when we are working on other shots.
HOW DO I GET MY KIDS TO SMILE?
Well, I will probably ask you the same question! Before you arrive, I will ask you to tuck a few tricks in your pocket such as funny jokes, silly noises and songs, a favorite squeaky toy, candy as a bribe . . .anything that works for your kids. It is also so important that before our photo shoot, everyone has a nice calm meal, is hydrated, that everyone is aware and clear on what picture day entails (cooperating, smiling and getting ice cream afterward!) and that the drive to meet me is happy and relaxing.

I do not have any specific one size fits all trick for making children smile, I tend to feel the energy, chat with your children about kid things and candy and hopefully warm them up to both me and my camera. I have had so many personalities through the years and I would say I have success with 95% of kids.
​
I do have one trick and you’re welcome to steal it: ask kids to laugh. Ask for a big fat laugh and here’s the key– do it with them and really get into it! It’s so dumb and silly but it works. At the end of every laugh is a real and relaxed smile, so be patient, wait for it, and then snap away.
